TERRY ZIMSEN

Terry holds an MBA in entrepreneurship, a graduate diploma in strategic management and fellowships in Taxation, Accounting and corporate governance.

He has over 30 years of experience in the tax and accounting industry. Terry is the founder of Somebody’s Child and is very passionate about:

  1. Reducing homelessness in Society

  2. Assisting children achieve and be the best they can be

  3. Assist the less fortunate during times of crisis.


TARREN ZIMSEN

Tarren is an intensive care trainee currently working at the Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory. Academically he completed primary and secondary education in Haileybury college Victoria before undertaking medical school through James Cook University in Queensland and then completing a Masters of Public Health through the University of New South Wales. 

 Tarren is passionate about critical care medicine and hopes to one day work as an intensive care doctor and retrieval doctor. He hopes to work with AUSMAT as well completing work overseas in lower resource sectors. Tarren has seen first-hand the impact of social disadvantage has on health outcomes and hopes to improve the lives of those less fortunate. 


Tiansha zimsen

Tiansha grew up in Melbourne and completed her schooling at Haileybury Girls College Keysborough. She graduated in Medicine from James Cook University in Queensland. She is excited to be starting work as a Junior Doctor at Royal Darwin Hospital next year and is looking forward to the challenging and incredibly rewarding medicine that the Northern Territory will offer with a special interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medicine.

Throughout her time at university, Tiansha has loved living in both Townsville and Cairns and has also been fortunate enough to complete multiple rural placements over the years in areas such as Thursday Island, Emerald and the Atherton Tablelands which she has thoroughly enjoyed.


BRENDAN KING

Incorporating the practice with Jerry Belleli in 1985.

Prior to founding our firm, Brendan spent 9 years as a Court Registrar. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and in 2000 completed a Master of Laws majoring in Family law also from Monash University. Brendan is admitted as to practice as a barrister and solicitor.

Brendan practices in all areas of law and has a particular interest in family law, crime and small business commercial disputes. He is also a skilled advocate and has appeared for the firm’s clients in various courts and tribunals including the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Magistrates Courts of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

In his spare time, Brendan sits on the board of Ties for Lives and Somebody’s Child charities. He has volunteered at Mentone Community Legal Service for over 20 years. He is also a musician and enjoys competing in endurance sports including long distance running, mountain biking, triathlons and much more. Coming from a multicultural background, Brendan speaks French, Greek and Italian.

STEUART ORCHARD

Business Owner, specialist within the print arena.

Born & Educated in England, immigrated as a family in 1981 to Australia.

Entered an Apprenticeship within the Print Industry, was fortunate enough to achieve Victorian apprentice of the Year every year of his Apprenticeship, which made it quite clear, that this was his career path.

Steuart has been in the commercial world of print for 30+ years. He has been a Director of his own Print Business for the 6 years, until a major player within the print industry in Melbourne came knocking on the door to purchase the successful Business.

Since then he has been consulting & working within the industry in various roles while running “Katash” - a Print management company that has allowed him the flexibility to balance his work / life environment.
Steuart is known in the industry as a successful, ethical and hardworking individual. Family orientated father and grandfather.


TILAK DISSANAYAKE

Graduated from Monash University in 1994 with MBBS. He embarked in a surgical career at the Alfred and Austin Hospitals in Melbourne. He also worked as a Rural Generalist in NSW for 11 years.

Elected past Vice-President/President of Rural Doctors Association of NSW, Elected to the Warrumbungle Shire as a Local government councillor (NSW) from 2008-2012 with third highest votes.

Appointed to the Rural Doctors Network (NSW) board for 6 years.

Clinical lecturer at Rural Medical School  University of Sydney.

Other interests include owning and managing a Angus Cattle breeding farm in Gulgong NSW (Haromi Ranch)

Owns and operates a state of the art Medical Centre in Camberwell, Victoria (Highfield Park Medical Centre). Specialising in Skin Cancer Medicine/Surgery.

Also works part-time as an Emergency Medical Officer, John Fawkner Private Hospital, admission rights to Cotham Private Hospital, Kew.

Elected/appointed as the Victorian Director of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Appointed in the Health and Ageing Forum Committee of the Liberal Party, Victoria. Elected as a Federal councillor of the Liberal Party from Kooyong, 2013.

Attended National Cervical Screen Program, Renewal Steering Committee, ACRRM. Representative February 2014 (RACGP-Melbourne)

Appearance in National and local media on Rural Health, including SBS Insight-fixing public hospitals, ABC Landline.

Rotarian, Rotary Club of Hawthorn 2014.

Board Member, Victoria Board of the Medical Board of Australia 2014-2018.
